1. Can I add the terminal into NVR for recording?
Yes , it can be added as a camera for live view and recording.
2. Can I add the terminal into Hik-Connect App?
Yes, you can add the terminal into the Hik-Connect App as long as the device is connecter to the Router.
The features below are supported.
Remote open the door (support double authentication by Touch ID)
Note: Share to another user (shared user cannot open the door at the moment, only live view can be shared)
Receive the tamper alarm.
3. What is the resolution of the camera?
2MP, WDR supported.
4. What is the function of the USB cable on the package?
It can be used to connect with USB disk to upgrade the system, and export/import data.
5. How can I enroll a person into the database?
It can be done on local menu and IVMS 4200 remotely.
6. How many faces can be enrolled into the terminal?
300
7. Can a printed photo be authenticated?
No, there are 2 cameras and infrared on the terminal, the paper photo cannot be authenticated.
8. How do I enter the local menu of the terminal?
Press and hold on the screen and click the lock button on the right, then input the password, or use your face to enter the menu if your face is registered as administrator.

10. Can I control the relay remotely?
Yes, it can be done on the Hik-connect app and 4200, providing you have the correct authentication level.
11. Can I check which user opens the door?
Yes, you can be search on the 4200 monitoring or local menu. (to search on the 4200, you need sync the local user first)
12. Can I add a secure module into the system?
Yes, by connecting the RS485 cable.
13. Can I connect an exit button to the system?
Yes, one exit button can be connected.
14. Can the terminal work as a card reader and add to another access controller?
No, it can only work as a terminal, not a card reader.
15. Can I add an external card reader to the terminal?
Yes, RS 485 hikvision card reader can be added.
16. Is there any supplement light on the terminal?
Yes, there are infrared light and white light on the top of terminal, you can configure the brightness and it will light up automatically if the infrared light detect a live face.
17. Can I open the door with password?
Yes, it can be opened by super password.
Set the password on 4200, and then type the keypad icon on the menu and input the password.
