Settings & adjustments on Hikvision IP CCTV cameras are often done via Internet Explorer (IE). Many users would be aware that Microsoft has sunset Internet Explorer. This presents an issue, particularly for Windows 11 Operating System users.
Hikvision Australia provided the following solution; allowing for IP camera access on Windows 11 and the popular Google Chrome web browser.
The issue:
When you enter the ip address of the camera into the web-browser, it may display an error message, this often happens both in Edge and Chrome.
Solutions:
Method a) Install Hikvision webComponent and install IE Tab in Chrome, using IE tab in Chrome, you should gain access to the camera.

Method b) Using IVMS 4200
Install Hikvision webComponent & Download the IVMS 4200 and install it.
